Welcome to the Clitheroe Food Festival 2013 website! Time to reveal what's in store on Saturday 10th August at this now nationally renowned, top UK food festival.
Continuing to keep to our aim of showcasing ONLY the Ribble Valley's and Lancashire's finest food and drink producers, we've been very busy over the Winter scouting for new faces and products. The results of which are astonishing. Growth in this sector is something to be celebrated 'up North'.
Over 100 producers will take centre stage at our event, all have been ingredients provenance checked, many also now work with each other to add to the quality value. All our participating professional and highly acclaimed chefs, also ALL hail from Lancashire. They volunteer their time to the event in support of their Lancashire ingredient suppliers. Each will offer visitors the chance to watch first class cookery demonstrations throughout the day.
